Carrie calls it the role of a lifetime.

"It's just sort of been a dream my whole life," St. Louis said.

Behind the scenes, Carrie tells says the opening number is one of her favorites.

Kartalija: "What is that feeling like when you are sitting up there and you're anticipating the start of the show?"

"It's a good time for me to center myself and put myself in that place to start the next 3 hour journey I am about to take all these people on," St. Louis says.

Carrie says her bubble dress weighs about 40 pounds.

Kartalija: "How much fun that every night you go to work and you hold a wand and wear pretty dresses?"

"I know, it's kind of a crime.  I'm like 'This is my job'.  I feel very very lucky."
