Buck Showalter Talks Payback Pitches And Dirty Slides
Buck Showalter is the manager of the defending AL East Champion Baltimore Orioles.
Buck joined Ed and Steve to talk about the O's finishing up a four game series with the Red Sox at 11am today.
Buck started off by talking about the weather in Boston and if they'll get the game in saying "it's going to be close...this time of day it depends on which weather man you're going by, and we have a lot of them including in our locker room." Buck also talked about the Ubaldo Jimenez ejection and expressed his views on the situation and whether it was justified or not. As for players throwing at each other and if the league will try to get control of these situations Buck said "it's a passionate game played by passionate men, you're going to play the game hard but there is a right way to play it...sometimes the toughest thing to do is to try to keep some sanity."
