Wind Advisory: 8PM Wednesday

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms are heading for the Baltimore metro brining strong gusty winds up to 50 mph.

Timing:

The line of showers is expected to cross our area early this afternoon bringing some hail and intermittent lightning.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the following counties until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday: Carroll; Central and Eastern Allegany; Extreme Western Allegany; Frederick; Washington.

Winds:

Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, shifting to the west during the early afternoon.

Residents are urged to secure any outdoor furniture and be cautious while driving.
