Coach Of The Week - Jimmy Creighton

Howard High School Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Jimmy Creighton joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn in this weeks segment of Coach of the Week brought to you by CountySportsZone.com. The Howard Lions have gotten off to an impressive start and are on the verge of a county title with one last hurdle in Glenelg High School, Jimmy talked about his mindset heading into the big game.  "We're 11-0 going into a big game against Glenelg tonight. The county title is on the line. This is a big game for us, because they've been the big dogs for the past 10 years or so, so this is a huge one."

Coaches take their own approach coming into a season, Jimmy talked about the goals he sets for his teams each year. "Every year, we have similar goals. First we want to win the county, next the region, and then a state championship. We haven't quite been able to grab a state title, but every year since my first, we've had the same goals. We train hard in the off season, and it's paid off."?
