Ron Darling Previews The Upcoming Series With The Orioles And The Mets
Ron Darling is a color commentator for national broadcasts on TBS and for the Mets on both SNY and WPIX.
Ron joined Ed and Steve to preview the Orioles upcoming series with Mets.
Ron started off by talking about the Mets hot start to the season and what caused it and what has caused the slowing down saying "being at home for an extended period of time and playing well at home, everything fell right for them...they were not going to be a 750 winning percentage team, they're still playing pretty good baseball but the offense has struggled a bit." As for whether or not the Mets injuries are playing a big role in them coming back to the pack Ron said "every team seems to have all these injuries, and the Mets don't seem to have the depth of the other clubs around the league...they've had some young kids come up and play really well." Ron also talked about the DH and whether or not the MLB should make the rules uniform for each league.
