Ray Lewis Announces Upcoming Memoir
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The real Ray. Legendary Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis plans to reveal all in a new memoir. The book will cover everything from his childhood to his athletic career to his best friend's murder.

Two Super Bowl wins and Super Bowl MVP---who else but the many time All-Pro Ray Lewis? Retired Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is a Baltimore legend.
"Me and Baltimore are forever connected," Lewis said.
A connection leading Lewis to co-write his autobiography, "I Feel Like Going On: Life, Game and Glory," which will be released later this year.
Ivy Bookshop owner Ed Berlin expects it will be a hit.
"Ray is the kind of person that there's always plenty more to know above and beyond today and hopefully this book will tell us a lot more than we already know," he said.
Publishers say the memoir will include the high and low points in Lewis' storied career, like his 2000 arrest in Atlanta, where Lewis was charged with murder, entered a plea agreement and sentenced to a year of probation.
"It's a memoir so it will be in biography. It's nonfiction so it will be up front in New and Nonfiction and of course will be in Regional and of course it will be in Sports," Berlin said.
And, like Ray, it's expected to be a fan favorite.
Lewis' memoir will also discuss his controversial opinions on the business of football and what he calls insights on the sport that we don't see on TV.
Simon & Schuster will release the book in October.
