Buck Showalter Gnome Revealed
During the MASN broadcast of the Orioles-Astros game, the Baltimore Orioles finally revealed the Buck Showalter garden gnome commemorating the 2014 AL Manager of the Year.
The #SHOWtheGnome social media campaign showed teaser shots of the gnome at various landmarks around the city of Baltimore. You can see some of the pictures on their twitter @Orioles or here: ShowtheGnome Gallery.
As a part of the campaign, fans won autographed gnomes and tickets to the June 27th game versus the Cleveland Indians at 7:15 p.m., when the gnomes will be given out to the first 25,000 fans 15 and over at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Buck was named Manager of the Year for the third time (1994, 2004) in 2014. He is currently in his sixth season managing the Orioles in Baltimore. He is currently two wins away from tying Whitey Herzon for the 35th spot on the all-time managerial wins list.
