Jeremy Conn: NBA Finals Predictions

The Cavaliers have locked up their spot in the NBA Finals and now LeBron James will play in his fifth consecutive NBA Finals. That is an unbelievable feat. Those Celtics teams in the 60's were able to accomplish the same thing, but in this day and age of salary cap and free agency, it's quite an accomplishment. Look at what this team has gone through as well. They lose Kevin Love to an injury midway through the playoffs and the lost Varejao earlier this season. Kyrie Irving is dealing with a knee injury and trying to play through it. Hopefully this time off will help him get healthy for the finals.

In the Western Conference the Warriors are up 3-1 with 2 games left at the Oracle. Golden State was the best home team in the NBA this year. I can't see this Rockets team putting together a 3 game run against the Warriors. I predicted that we would have the Warriors and Cavs in the finals. I'm leaning towards the Warriors to win in 7 games. Kyrie's injury scares me moving forward and with the Warriors ability to score in bunches, I think it will be tough for the Cavs to keep up. We will get a chance to watch the best player in the game and the best shooter in the game go toe to toe for all the glory.
