Dave Johnson On The Orioles Roster When Players Return From Injury

Dave Johnson is a former pitcher for the Orioles who is now the co-host of the Orioles post-game show here on The Fan. Dave's son Steve is a pitcher in the Orioles minor league system currently playing for the Norfolk Tides.

Dave joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Orioles start to the season and where they need to improve as well as giving an update on his son Steve.

Dave started off by talking about Mike Wright and how he has pitched so far and the problem with the Orioles roster of trying to keep him saying "we'll see what Mike Wright does today, and he may get another start before they decide what to do with him...until Norris pitches a strong consistent performance in the minor leagues the Orioles have some time." As for Matt Wieters and his possible return as the everyday catcher and what to do with Caleb Joseph Dave said "it's another one of those deals where people say it's a problem but it's not a manager will never say I have too many good players."
