Andy Freed With A Preview For Orioles Vs Rays
Andy Freed is the Tampa Rays radio announcer.
Andy joined Ed and Steve to preview the upcoming Rays vs Orioles series.
Andy started off by talking about the Rays being predicted to finish last before the season saying "I thought they were valid, I don't think there is a team that at any time will runaway with the division...they is no team that will blow the doors off the division but I do think the Orioles and Red Sox are sleeping giants." When asked about Matt Wieters coming back from injury and what he thinks will happen Andy said "I tend to have low expectations for guys fresh off of Tommy John surgery." Andy also talked about what it will take to win the AL East in the end saying "I think 85 wins takes the division." Andy also talked about how he would not be surprised if the Orioles got hot over the summer and took the division because of how good their pitching and bullpen can be.
