Missing Md. Man's Body Found Near Annapolis Yacht Club

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The body pulled from the water near the Annapolis Yacht Club has been preliminarily identified as that of a Severn man who was reported missing.

Annapolis police say in a news release that the body of 28-year-old Xavier Mackell was found Thursday night.

Mackell was reported missing on Monday; police say he was last seen Sunday.

Officers say the body was removed from the water and taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy.
