1 Dead, 3 Injured In Shooting At Prince George's County Park
SPRINGDALE, Md. (AP) -- Law enforcement officials say one person was killed and three others injured during a shooting near a neighborhood recreation center in Springdale.
Lt. Brian Waters of the Maryland National Capital Park Police said public safety officers were called to the Ardmore Neighborhood Recreation Center at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a shooting. Waters said when emergency responders arrived at the scene they found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Waters said the victims were taken to the hospital, where one died and another is in critical condition.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victims, and no arrests have been made.
