WEATHER BLOG: Gorgeous Sunday

Today will be a really nice end to the weekend with high pressure sliding just off the coast. Low humidity values, combined with good amount of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s will highlight the day. Low pressure over Quebec will pull a cold front we've been monitoring into the reaching. Yesterday, we mentioned how the temperature forecast for Monday was going to be challenging. We went with the slower idea and that looks like it was the right choice with warmer temps winning out on Monday. Heavy showers & t-storms will result from the approaching front, mainly during the nighttime hours on Monday. However, if the front progresses faster than expected, we could have a few showers and t-storms as early as Monday afternoon. Expect an uptick in humidity of Monday as well with winds out of the south & southwest, dewpoints will likely be making it into the mid 60s.
