2nd Man Dies After Single-Car Crash In Perry Hall

PERRY HALL, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say a second man has died after a single-car crash in Perry Hall.

Officers said Monday that 18-year-old James Richard Murphy died Saturday at Shock Trauma, where he was flown after Friday night's crash.

The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on Joppa Road near Brewers Drive. Police say Murphy was driving east when he lost control of his car, which left the road and hit two trees.

A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Nathan Alexander Chappelle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
