8 People Injured In Separate Quadruple Stabbings In DC

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Two people have been critically injured in a quadruple stabbing in Northwest Washington.

D.C. Police say the stabbing happened just before 9:25 p.m. Sunday a few blocks from the U Street Metro Station. Two people were critically injured, but police did not release any details about the other two people who were stabbed.

One person was stopped and detained at the scene. Police believe the case is domestic in nature.

It was the second quadruple stabbing in the District on Sunday.

Earlier Sunday morning, four people, three men and a woman, were stabbed around 2 a.m. in Chinatown.

A man has been arrested in connection with that stabbing. The victims have not been identified.
