WEATHER BLOG: More Showers, Thunderstorms Possible
We certainly had to deal with a very busy period of weather last evening. There is still this chance this afternoon for a shower or t-storm, but the likelihood is much lower than it was yesterday.
Areas to our east have a better chance for any activity as the atmostphere will be more unstable. At this juncture, we are playing the convection this afternoon as a singular event.
The best shot at the strongest activity will actually be north of the Mason-Dixon line where dynamics are better.
Wednesday looks dry and quiet with highs in the mid 80s.
We will then have to deal with occasional bouts of showers and t-storms around the region during the next 3 days after tomorrow. Temps will also be soaring to around 90 by the end of the work-week.
