Police: Man Charged With Shooting BB Gun Into Easton Hotel

EASTON, Md. (AP) -- A man has been accused of shooting a BB gun at an Easton hotel.

On Saturday, Easton Police say they were dispatched to the Days Inn on Ocean Gateway to find 22-year-old Miguel A. Gonzalez Jr. holding a BB gun which was strong enough to break thick glass.

According to police, Gonzalez was upset about a job he conducted for the hotel and accused them of underpaying him. Police say Gonzalez used the BB gun to break the glass to the front office and shoot the window of a rental room.

Gonzalez has been charged with assault in the first degree, among other charges. He is being held at the Talbot County Detention Center on $15,000 bond. Jail records do not indicate if Gonzalez has hired an attorney.
