Report: 4 Years To Fully Implement Police Body Cameras In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--The city plans to take four years to fully implement a police-body camera program, according to our media partner The Baltimore Sun.

The Sun says a pilot program will last at least 60 days.

The cameras will then be phased in over a four-year period until all 2,500 officers are equipped with them.

Some city council members are calling for the body camera program to be implemented immediately.
