Bear Sighting Prompts Lockdown At Elementary School In Germantown
GERMANTOWN, Md. (WJZ)--Another bear sighting in a residential area of Maryland and this time, it prompts a lockdown at an elementary school!
These photos were taken as police responded to William Gibbs Elementary School in Germantown this morning.
The bear is believed to be the same one that was spotted in backyards in Damascus this week.
Wildlife officials hope it will find its way into a wooded area.
