WEATHER BLOG: Big Rain Coming

TGIF!!! Ain't it the truth.

Hi everyone,

Big rain is coming. No need to mince words. Tonight through Saturday night/Sunday morning we could see inches of rain in some places. Street and highway flooding is possible. Just be aware of it, and make or change plans accordingly.

By Sunday midday, we should see some sun returning, and with enough sun on Sunday maybe a nice afternoon with a high of 80. That is the long and short of it.

I hate to see a weekend get shafted by the weather in any season. Having said that, let's find a positive...and that would be in the temps.

The normal is 86...the temps between now and July 1st will be below or at normal. No early summer 'blowtorching' is in the outlook. And if the long range outlook is to be believed, the upcoming holiday weekend might be a darn good one!

TGIF...Hey, I couldn't leave you to start, albeit a wet weekend, on anything but an up note!
