WEATHER BLOG: Spectacular Monday

We are starting off the work-week with a spectacular Monday. Plenty of sunshine and temps in the low 80s by this afternoon. As our flow shifts out of the south, we will begin to bring in more humidity and warmer air on Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday are forecast to reach into the mid 80s right here in central Maryland. Chances for showers and t-storms will also be on the up-tick, especially Tuesday afternoon. Right now, the Storm Prediction Center has us in the "marginal risk" category for severe weather, so we could even have a few isolated severe t-storms.
