WEATHER BLOG: Unsettled Weather

Hi everyone.

Well, here we go. A period of unsettled weather lay before us for the next few days... just in time for the holiday weekend. NUTS. Today, we have showers, periods of heavy rain and the possibility of gusty thunderstorms.

You have noticed the increase in humidity since yesterday. That would be a warm front creeping over the region. A cold front will sag in behind it and stall. That will allow moisture to move along it, at times, between now and Saturday. Therein lay the issue, which is EXACTLY where will that front place itself. Root for it to move well south. Even in that scenario rain will be close enough by for concern.

Cancel no plans, but be aware you may have to modify them. All joking aside, stay tuned.
