Heat Advisory In Effect For Parts Of Md. On Monday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A heat advisory remains in effect for Eastern Shore residents with temperatures expected to remain excessive on Monday.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory until 8:00 p.m. Monday for Caroline; Cecil; Kent; Queen Anne's; Talbot; Dorchester; Wicomico counties.
Temperatures could feel as warm as 107 degrees, officials said.
It's urged that you limited your time outside and if it's a must, schedule activities for the early morning hours.
A Code Orange Air Quality alert remains in effect though Monday.
Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram says temperatures will still feel pretty warm on Monday with highs in the 90's.
Monday will be mondtly sunner with a high near 94. Thunderstorms and showers may popup after 10 a.m.
