Reports Of Partying Are Being Investigated Following Harpers Ferry Blaze
HARPERS FERRY, WV (WJZ)--Investigators in historic Harpers Ferry are looking into reports of teens partying just before a massive fire began on Thursday morning.
The fire marshal hasn't determined the cause of the fire that destroyed five businesses, all housed in historic buildings.
Witnesses tell police they heard rowdy young people nearby and investigators collected items from a pub inside one of the buildings.
Damage from the fire is estimated at $2-million.
