WEATHER BLOG: Potential For Storms Tonight & Tomorrow
The radar remains quiet across the viewing area this afternoon. There are just a few pop-up showers across southern PA. A few storms may travel southward this tonight and through the day tomorrow as a frontal boundary limps into the region. With decently high precipitable water values and CAPE between 1000 & 2000 j/kg, it is conceivable that a few storms over the next 24 hours could be on the heavy/gusty side. Heat will build Tuesday through Thursday ahead of the next front. High pressure and seasonable heat will remain across the region into next weekend.
