Steve Melewski With A Post Trade Deadline Orioles Update

Steve joined Ed and Ken to talk about the Orioles current roster after the trade deadline and what to expect going forward.
Ken asked Steve about the Orioles trade for outfielder Gerardo Parra, Steve thinks it is a good acquisition for the club saying that "its a pretty good upgrade, he seems to have fit in very well. Its an upgrade where we needed it."
Ken asked Steve about the Orioles dealing reliever Tommy Hunter to the Chicago Cubs for outfielder Junior Lake. Steve thinks the move was largely made because the Orioles were unlikely to resign Hunter at the end of the season, "they got something for a player that wasn't coming back."
Steve went on to discuss the Orioles cutting first baseman Chris Parmelee, the potential interest in former Blue Jays infielder Danny Valencia who was recently designated for assignment, and the concern level regarding Ubaldo Jimenez.
