Man Charged With Murder In Germantown Fatal Stabbing
GERMANTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police say a Gaithersburg man has been charged in the fatal stabbing of a man who was dating his ex-girlfriend.
Montgomery County police announced Wednesday afternoon that 36-year-old Miguel Rodriguez-Gaona has been charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of 40-year-old William Palacios.
The victim was killed late Tuesday night in Germantown. Police say Palacios and his girlfriend were in the parking lot in front of his home when Rodriguez-Gaona showed up and started arguing with him. Police say Rodriguez-Ganoa stabbed Palacios several times and ran away. Police say Palacios' girlfriend used to be romantically involved with the suspect.
Rodriguez-Ganoa was arrested around noon Wednesday in Baltimore. It's not clear whether he has an attorney.
