Annapolis Police Investigate Bomb Threats At 3 Local Businesses

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in the Annapolis area are looking into a series of bomb threats against local businesses.

Workers at three businesses say they have received calls from someone demanding money, threatening to bomb their business.

The first threat came in Saturday morning against SunTrust Bank on Solomons Island Road.

Just minutes later, a second threat was called in for another SunTrust Bank in Annapolis.

A third threat was called into a Giant supermarket,.

Police believe the calls are a part of a related scheme.
