BALTIMORE (AP) -- Police are identifying the 58-year-old Gwynn Oak man who was shot and killed in Baltimore in what detectives believe began as a robbery.

Police announced Tuesday that Paul Hilroy Passley was shot in the head early Monday in the Penrose area. Police say Passley's 2001 Porsche Boxster was stolen and later involved in a hit-and-run in the nearby Evergreen Lawn neighborhood, where the suspects left the car and ran.

The homicide is the city's 19th of August and the 208th of 2015.
