Graphic Designer Creates Baltimore-Specific Pride T-Shirts

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- It goes without saying that Baltimoreans are proud of their neighborhoods.

So a graphic designer who lives in Hampden came up with an idea.

Ron Matz reports how you can wear your pride all over Charm City.

From the Patapsco to Little Italy, Canton and Locust Point -- Baltimore is city of neighborhoods.

So Will Sinnott designed these neighborhood shirts and Baltimore hats.

"My idea was to make the shirts for individual Baltimore neighborhoods," said Sinnott. " I can't do one for everybody out the gate, so I'm doing them one-by-one."

For starters there's Hampden, Dundalk and Television Hill.

"There are so many different neighborhoods in Baltimore and Maryland pride has been a big thing with t-shirts and stuff," he said. "I think the Baltimore-specific neighborhood should be celebrate as well."

Sinnot is a huge Orioles fan too. From Charm City, he hopes a new bird will take flight.

"There are a lot of things out there with the Maryland flag or the 410 area code," he said, "I haven't seen anything with zip codes so I though that would be a clever gimmick for the tee shirts."

Will's t-shirts cost $15, for more information go to www.mkt.com/supernautdesign
