WEATHER BLOG: A Great Weekend Setting Up

A frontal boundary that brought our rain and t-storms last evening is now well off to our east. The front will continue to press eastward just a tad in the short term before coming to a grinding halt and stalling out. Boundary will sit in place for a time, then nudge westward somewhat late in the weekend and this could mean a shower and a few more clouds around for places like the Eastern Shore and the beaches. Otherwise, what a difference a day makes! As high pressure builds in behind that front, dewpoints have dropped into the refreshing 50s with comfortable temps in the mid 80s. Saturday looking really good in central Maryland with plenty of sunshine, a few afternoon clouds and highs in the mid 80s.
