City Officer Charged With Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication In Ocean City
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A Baltimore police officer is a charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication on Wednesday after an incident in Ocean City.
Police say Officer Erick Ohmstede was arrested early this morning and is currently suspended from the department.
Officer Ohmstede is a four-year veteran of the Baltimore police force who is assigned to the Eastern District.
"The charges against Officer Ohmstede are concerning," said Interim Commissioner Kevin Davis. "Anyone who has the privilege of wearing this badge and this patch is held to a higher standard and is expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner."
The Ocean City Police Department is leading the investigation.
