Man Charged After Accountant Is Punched, Falls, Hits Head
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Maryland man has been charged in the death of a Texas man who fell and hit his head after being assaulted in Washington.
D.C. police say 24-year-old Milkiyas Bayisa of Adelphi, Maryland, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Kassahun Abebe Edo of Irving, Texas.
Officers say Edo, an accountant, was assaulted early Saturday, fell and hit his head. He died at a local hospital on Sunday.
Police have not reported on a motive in the crime.
