Police: Suspect Spray-Painted Swastika On Speed Cameras, Neighborhood Sign

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Authorities are searching for the person responsible for spay-painting swastikas on two speed cameras and a neighborhood sign on Wednesday.

A green spray painted swastika was first discovered early Wednesday morning along Route 108 (Olney Laytonsville Road) near Headwaters Drive in Olney.

Police say they also found a second speed camera vandalized with a green swastika on westbound Route 108 just prior to Spartan Road.

And nearly an hour later, police say they found another swastika after a resident reported a neighborhood entrance sign was vandalized.

Investigators believe all these incidents are related.
