WEATHER BLOG: Comfortable Saturday Night

On the weather map, high pressure has moved just east of the area.  There is an area of low pressure near the Iowa/Illinois border with a warm front extending eastward into the Ohio Valley and a trailing cold front that currently reaches into the southern Plains. This low will slowly head eastward while weakening. It should not have much of an impact on our weather. Otherwise, the forecast centers around a building upper level high pressure area. This feature will stick around just about all weak long. Tonight will be a little milder than last night, but still rather comfortable with lows in the mid 60s. Tomorrow will be a little more humid with an afternoon high close to 90. Otherwise it will be all about the hot weather Monday into next week.
