Man Arrested After Being Overheard Admitting To Murders

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – A Baltimore resident was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder and firearms violations after being overheard admitting to committing the crimes.

Montae Higgins, 20, was pronounced dead in July of 2013 after being shot multiple times. Jonathan Terry, 28, was shot multiple times on January of 2014, and he was sent to Sinai Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Forensic evidence linked the murder weapon to both cases.

Detectives from the Homicide Section obtained and served two arrest warrants on 27-year-old Andre Mixon in connection to the two unsolved murders.
