Kennel Owner: Ex-Steeler Doesn't Deserve Dog He Left There

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The owner of a Baltimore kennel where former Pittsburgh Steeler Chris Kemoeatu has left his dog for the past 10 months says he's racked up an $11,000 bill and she may find a new home for the animal.

Pooches and Purrs owner Renee Mason tells WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh (http://bit.ly/1EElSIU ) that Kemoeatu may be a nice guy, but he's not a good pet owner.

Kemoeatu currently runs a gym in Hawaii.

Kemoeatu's agent, John Bivens, says the ex-player will be in Pittsburgh next week to clean out his old home, then head to Baltimore to pick up Zeus the Cane Corso.

Mason isn't convinced he'll show up, and even if he does, she doesn't believe he should get Zeus back. She says at least two families want to adopt Zeus.
