Mike Haynes On An Exciting Opening Weekend In The NFL

Mike Haynes is a former NFL player and prostate cancer survivor.

Mike joined Ed and Steve to talk about the opening NFL weekend and surviving and beating prostate cancer.

Steve asked Mike about whether Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning seems to be losing arm strength. Mike noted that he has seen a dip in his arm strength for some time, "to be honest I thought so last year, but he's such a talented guy that he can make up for it. He is getting older though and you can tell he's winding down."

Ed asked Mike about Raider's quarterback Derek Carr injuring his hand in week one. Mike noted that this could be an unfortunate set back for Oakland's second year starter saying, "I think it's a big blow. There was a lot of optimism going around Raiders fans after his great preseason."

Mike went on to discuss his work promoting prostate cancer awareness month, the hold out situation between safety Cam Chancellor and the Seattle Seahawks, how the AFC East division will shape up this season, and Bengals defensive back Adam Jones' dirty hit on Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper.
