Jury Finds Salisbury Man Guilty In Death Of Delaware Man

CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) -- A Salisbury man has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of a Delaware man who was reported missing last year.

A Dorchester County jury also convicted Deshaune Darling on Wednesday of kidnapping and other related charges in the death of 40-year-old Radames Guzman of Magnolia, Delaware.

Authorities say Guzman was reported missing by his family in August 2014. Authorities say his body was found about three weeks later in the Linkwood area of the county.

Darling is expected to be sentenced in December.

In May, Darling was sentenced to 30 years in prison in connection with a high-speed police car chase through Wicomico County in September 2014. When he finally stopped, police say Darling was found to be wearing a bullet-proof vest and armed with a gun.
