Pastor Jamal Bryant Drops Out Of Congressional Race
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Pastor Jamal Bryant has ended his Congressional bid.
He announced on September 14 that he was running for Elijah Cummings' seat.
There were rumors that Cummings might run for the Senate seat about to be vacated by retiring Senator Barbara Mikulski but Cummings has said he would seek re-election instead.
Bryant says his parishioners didn't want him to run.
The primary is next April.
