"Walk With Francis" Gains Popularity

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- The Pope's visit is causing some to consider their lives and the impact they can have on the world.

Mary Bubala has more on "Walk With Francis."

How will you walk with Francis? It's a question for students at Catholic University.

"Pray daily," said one.

"Treat everyone with respect and dignity," said another.

"To walk with Francis means to live out the teachings that Pope Francis has been preaching since his time as Pope," said Amy Rowland.

Walk with Francis is a pledge to follow the Pope's example of faith and service.

"Basically spreading your faith and love to the community," said Vanessa Rincone.

The Office of Campus Ministry at Catholic University is behind the movement.

"Do something. Get up; don't just go through life ignoring the people who need you most," said Rowland.

Hundreds of students have joined the "Walk with Francis."
