26-Year-Old Man Dies In Halethorpe Shooting

HALETHORPE (WJZ) -- Baltimore County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Halethorpe.

Police responded to the 3200 block of Lorena Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday and found a man suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

Twenty six-year-old Harry James Smith Jr of the 4000 block of Annellen Road in Baltimore was taken to Shock Trauma where he was declared dead.

Police say the Smith was visiting friends in the area before he was fatally shot.

Police are trying to determine if Smith was targeted.
