Baltimore Police Investigate After Body Found In Woods

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore police are investigating after a body was found in the woods.

WJZ's Amy Yensi has more on what police are calling a homicide investigation.

A quiet bike trail becomes a murder scene after a man's body is found near the 1400 block of Horner's Way on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say they received a call around 10:30 a.m. from a biker who made the discovery.

Upon arrival to the scene, police say the victim was unresponsive and showed visible signs of trauma. The victim died a short time later.

The trail was closed off for hours as detectives combed through the grass evidence.

The man's identity is still unknown but police do suspect foul play.
