Driver Killed After Tractor-Trailor Plummets From Overpass Onto Roadway Below

FORESTVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A tractor-trailer plummeted from an overpass in Prince George's County onto a roadway early Friday morning, killing the driver.

According to Prince George's County Fire Department, the truck fell from an overpass on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway onto Suitland Parkway.

The truck was carrying paper products.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, but the accident is affecting traffic in the area.
