Baltimore Police Investigate 3 Overnight Shootings

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore police are investigating three overnight shootings.

Shortly before midnight, police were called to the 16-hundred block of Church Street for a double shooting. When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Tabitha Holtman. Holtman had been shot multiple times in the back; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also found a 17-year-old; he was suffering from a graze wound. He has been treated and released from a local hospital.

Police say the two were walking along Church Street when they head gunshots coming from behind them. At that point, they began to run.

Witnesses only stated that a black man was seen shooting at the victims.

At 2:15 a.m., police were called to McHenry Street for shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been shot in the back.

He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
