Bob Haynie: 1-4 Ravens Are In Deep Trouble

The Cleveland Browns did something on Sunday that they hadn't done since 2007. They won a football game at M&T Bank Stadium. An actual NFL contest.

The Browns came from behind to stun the Ravens 33-30 in overtime. Much to the dismay of over 70 thousand disbelieving people. With the loss, reeling Baltimore drops to 1-4 for the first time in franchise history.

Since 1990, five percent of the teams that started 1-4 made the playoffs. That's right, only six of 121 teams have been able overcome that dubious beginning to a season and advance to the postseason over the last 25 years.

After allowing the Browns to gain 505 yards of offense, the Ravens are ranked 25th in the NFL in total defense. Cleveland QB Josh McCown shredded Baltimore's D by throwing for 457 yards and two touchdowns.

The Ravens' once fearsome defense is just a shell of it's former self. They have blown fourth-quarter leads in all five games in 2015. They rank 25th in passing yards per game (278.2) and they are 25th in average points allowed (27.4).

All five of Baltimore's games have been decided by six points or fewer. Unfortunately, they have been on the short end of the score in most of them.

The Baltimore Ravens have never had a losing season with John Harbaugh as their Head Coach. Could this be his first?

Things better turn around quick for the Ravens if they want to prevent that from happening.
