WEATHER BLOG: Chilliest Air Of The Season

Get ready for the chillest air of the season so far... it moves in this weekend. A big, strong area of high pressure in the northern plains will move southeastward and build into the region over the next couple of days. Persistent northwest flow will filter in chillier air as we move into Saturday. High temps will drop from the 60s today to the 50s on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight temps will drop into the 30s and a freeze watch has been issued for the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday morning for areas north and west of Baltimore. High pressure will push east by Tuesday and that will allow temperatures to moderate.
