Breaking Down The Ravens Issues With Mark Viviano

Mark Viviano with WJZ-13 joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to talk about the Ravens rough season.

With the Ravens sitting at 1-5 through week 6 it is fair to say this is one of the worst Ravens teams we have seen in recent memory. "Prior to this season Sports illustrated and a lot of the ESPN guys had the Ravens as a top Super Bowl contender out of the AFC. There is such a fine line between the top and the bottom. Between winning and losing in the NFL. That line hasn't moved but the Ravens for a better part of a decade were above that line and have now moved below that line. How do you get there? You don't play as well, you're not as consistent, you have injuries, you have a depleted roster and draft picks that aren't panning out."

Mark went on to say that the Ravens front office has to take most of the blame for the Ravens recent struggles. "I think they would be the first to admit that. We have reached a point where you've had significant down turn. I believe the Ravens regular season record since winning the Super Bowl is now at an even .500. Injuries you can't always control but draft picks you can and that is something where the Ravens have certainly excelled. Now there are serious questions about some of the higher picks and how they have not worked out."
