Suzy Hamilton On Her New Memoir 'Fast Girl'

Suzy Hamilton is a former three time US Olympic athlete.

Suzy joined Ed and Steve to discuss her new book 'Fast Girl' which is atop the New York Time's Best Seller List.

Steve asked Suzy about her journey from being an Olympic athlete to working as an escort in Las Vegas. Suzy noted that her story can be very hard to believe, "its such a crazy bizarre story. To try to summarize this story, in 2012 I was misdiagnosed with depression. I was prescribed Zoloft, which brought on hyper-sexuality as a side effect. I was trying to rekindle my marriage with my husband so we decided to experiment more, and we decided to have a three some in Vegas with another woman. After that experience something changed in me. I do believe Zoloft made these experiences easier to do."

Ed asked Suzy how long her work as an escort lasted. Suzy said that she worked for a year in the escort business until being confronted by a reporter, "I was an escort for exactly one year. A reporter had confronted me and told me he was going to ruin my life. That was the moment everything came crashing down."

Suzy went on to discuss the two year process to get her life back on track, the amount of time that has elapsed since she first began her downward spiral, and how her time as an escort has affected her legacy as an Olympic athlete.
