Another Fight At Douglass High School Captured On Cell Phone Video

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – A student is arrested for attacking a school police officer. It happened as the officer tried to break up a fight between two girls at Frederick Douglass High School.

Jessica Kartalija reports another student was charged with attempted murder for a fight that also happened on campus in September.

Another disturbing fight on campus at Frederick Douglass High School is captured on cell phone video.

As students watch the violence, one of the teens repeatedly yanks her classmate's hair. That student then rips the other teen's shirt off.

A Baltimore City school police officer attempting to pull the girls apart is then attacked by a male student.

In September, Douglass High School also made headlines when student Sean Johnson, seen on cell phone video punching and stomping on the head of football teammate Darian McDowell.

McDowell had to be rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

Johnson is facing attempted murder charges.

The officer attempting to break up the most recent fight has minor injuries and is on medical leave. The student who attacked him is now in police custody.

Douglass also made headlines in April, when students clashed with city police officers following the funeral of Freddie Gray.
